The day marks the birthday of Dr James Parkinson from London, who was the first person to systematically described the six individuals with the symptoms of Parkinson Disease. The PD Avengers and Partners are collaborating on a Globally relevant, locally executed campaign. Each partner will receive a tool kit of supplies with a new logo for World Parkinson’s Day that everyone is encouraged to use to enhance their campaign and show unity in our alliance to end Parkinson’s.
